Luke Harrop Memorial Race – Gatorade Race 7

A great way to end the series. We had a larger group than expected at this race and some great results as well. Well done to Josh Maeder on his win. He is showing some great form at the moment with a 2nd place in Singapore last week.

Our Club Patron Loretta Harrop showed she still has it with a 4th place in the female opens. Ursula had yet another podium which helped her seal second place for the series.

Gatorade Race 5 Caloundra

This race was held in horrible conditions at Caloundra. Great work for all to get through without too much drama.
There was also the elite enduro series race in which Josh, Mike, ellie and Maddie raced.

ITU Juniors Race 1 Canberra

Well done to Mike and Ellie on their podiums. Dylan aslo raced but was brought down in a crash and Maddie was DQ'd.

Geelong 70.3 2010

Another large group for this race. There was a couple of people due to injury that only raced part of the race.  Jason Zaal pulled up off the bike due to a injury from a crash in the weeks leading up.
Mel Rollinson pulled up after the bike as per coach's orders and was the first or second female off the bike including pros which is very scary and Troy Wannell ran too 14km on the run. you're nearly there big fella. Of those who finished Belinda placed 2nd. Well done B  She was given a spot in the 70.3 world champs but decided to give it a miss. I notice there was a lot of boys being chicked as well. Great work girls

All Schools Triathlon

Well done to all of our Junios that competed. We had 4 athletes that have been selected to compete at the Australian school champs. Luke Willian, Dylan Holdsworth and Lee Masters earnt there spot during all schoools and Ellie Salthouse was awarded a spot due to being Ellie. Just joking. She was away at the ITU junior race weekend and was given selection due to results this year.
